How to clear the logs

Logs are located at 'c:\windows\system32\drivers\lightlogger.log' (where c:\windows - Windows directory). To clear all logs, go to 'drivers' directory and delete lightlogger.log.

Since LightLogger v 1.3.1, old logs (but not all logs) are removed automatically after next reboot when the file reaches 1Mb.
PS. One of the near release will have minimal GUI with delete logs functionality.

It is not clear how it works. What to do after installation.

From the beginning LightLogger starts automatically after installation. To see how it works, just type any text in any window and select 'Show Logs' from the menu 'Start->Programs->HeavenWard->LightLogger'.

How does RemoveAny work and how to use it.

The main goal of RemoveAny is to show users what starts on their PC. Using heuristic, RemoveAny separates all modules and processes into tree groups:
      suspicious application suspicious.
      unknown application unknown.
      trusted application trusted.
If you have suspicious modules/processes, you should not immediately delete those files. To make a correct decision if the file is really suspicious or not you may surf the Internet looking for files.

How to create 'Technical Summary' and send it for analysis.

First go to RemoveAny - gui and push remove spyware technical summary. This may take a while. When the summary is created, it is saved at your local driver in temporary file.

Then fill in 'User contact'. We use this address to send the result of analysis back to you. Select and copy the temporary file name like it is shown at the next picture. remove spyware technical summary select

What to do if my PC blue screened after installing RemoveAny.

Very seldom you may got BSOD after installing RemoveAny.

Most probably this is a compatibility issue with the security product or a spyware is installed at your PC.

To solve the issue, you need to uninstall RemoveAny. There are three ways to uninstall RemoveAny manually. First of all reboot you PC in safe mode. After that do one of the following:
  • Go to Start->Programs->HeavenWard->RemoveAny and select Uninstall.
  • Run Uninstall.exe from C:\Program Files\HeavenWard\RemoveAny\
  • Delete file c:\windows\system32\drivers\removeany.sys and folder C:\Program Files\HeavenWard\RemoveAny\
Reboot you PC after that.
